Our newest friend and ally Brady Leavold. Long story short Brady is a former pro hockey player who has a very important story and is on a very important mission. Brady’s full story can be found on his website and I strongly encourage you to give it a read.
Brady has willingly shared his story with us about how his hockey career was cut short due to substance abuse problems, addiction and mental health struggles. Brady’s mission is to change the stigma in hockey, change the conversation and help struggling players get the rehab and support they need to battle their demons. Brady’s story and mission is extremely important to us and we want you to join us in supporting him. We are working to help Brady make a difference.
Next year Brady is rollerblading across Canada to raise money for his business Puck Support. Brady is already helping others get treatment and all of his merch has the name of someone who lost their battle; Brady wants to ensure that no one is forgotten. I promise you will have so much growing respect for the man who chose to speak out about something that most people want swept under the rug. We hear you Brady and we are here to support you.
